In the first episode of this series, we thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce ourselves.       With the purpose of this series being an interactive tool to learn English, we would love to hear a little bit about you in the comments below!

Feel free to share anything! From where you are from, to your likes and dislikes, trips you've taken, the reason you're studying English, or anything else you'd like to share.

We are excited to hear from you and get to know you all better!

 We will go first:

Hi, my name is Chris.       I have lived in many different places as a child, due to my dad's job, where we moved every three years.       I love traveling and experiencing new cultures.

My first time going overseas was when I was 12 years old, when we moved to Japan.       I was nervous at first but quickly learned to love my new environment.

I was also able to spend two years in Hokkaido in my early 20s, and then another two years teaching English in my late 20s when we lived in Southern Japan.

I love everything about Japan and even decided to get my bachelor's degree in Japanese, then my master's in teaching languages.       I'm excited to interact with you all here on this site!

Hi! My name's Ashley.       I grew up in the mountains of Utah in the USA.       I've always loved experiencing new cultures and places (I spent some time in New Zealand when I was in my early 20s), and after marrying Chris, we decided to move out to Japan to teach English.

We lived in both Kagawa Ken and Yamaguchi Ken and really loved our time there.       I also discovered my new favorite food in Japan - ramen!

After moving back home to the U.S., we still wanted to teach English, so here we are!

We have two girls, Noelle who is six, and Maya who is four.      I love exploring new places, trying new foods, and spending time in nature.

Konnichiwa! My name is Keita.   I live and teach English in Kagawa, Japan.   I spent some years studying in different countries, including the USA, the UK, and Ireland

I love teaching, outdoor activities, and learning new things!   My wife and I have five children, three boys and a set of girl-boy twins!

Now it's your turn!       Feel free to share anything at all about yourselves, and please ask if there's anything you're wondering about us!
