 Alex has a wake-up call

I haven't done too many adventurous things in my life.       My parents expected me to go to school and get a good job, so that's what I did.       I was told I need to fit into a certain mold, so I did.

My life looked exactly like the next guys - get up, go to work, come home and repeat.      I'd go out with friends on the weekend and was building up a pretty nice little nest egg, but for what?

I realized my life is boring; that there's really no meaning in it.       I don't want to live like this, not when there's so much more out there.

My parents aren't happy with me, but I don't want to be like them.     I want my life to look different, and going to Japan is the first step to doing that.

I realized my life is boring and that there really was no meaning in it.     I don't want to live like this, not when there's a whole world out there to experience.
