"You'll get a kick out of..."

Ever heard this?       We use it all the time in America; it means this will interest or entertain you.       But saying it like that is way too formal, therefore, "you'll get a kick out of."

For example, the other day my daughter said something funny at the post office.      She was trying to see over the counter, but it was too tall for her.

The worker asked her why she didn't just jump up and over, and this is what she said: "I can't! There's too much gravity!"

The worker totally got a kick out of that.      I could also say the worker loved that, or he thought that was funny, but "he got a kick out of" is a more natural way to say it.
